What is SOHO?

Small Office Home Office. But for us this means any person or business who does not need a full-time workspace.

 

Do I need to make an appointment for a tour?

We strongly recommend it to be sure we have the time to present the center properly.

 

What are your normal business hours?

Simply 8:30 to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday except major holidays. Services and access are not normally available outside of business hours. If special arrangements are possible, expect to pay an hourly premium to have access.

 

If I am not using a Virtual Office Plan, can I still have packages and mail sent to the center?

No. Use of the address is regulated by US Postal regulations and not available without the requisite procedures of the Virtual Office Plan. We need to refuse mail and deliveries for those without the necessary plan.

 

If I am not using a Virtual Office Plan, can I use the address on my business cards and website?

No. This question is similar to the one above and the same regulations apply. Use of the address in commerce is regulated by US Postal regulations and not available without the requisite procedures of the Virtual Office Plan.

 

Do I have a key to the center for 24/7 access?

SOHO services do not include 24/7 access. If this feature is important to you, we suggest you investigate our Full -Time Workspace.

 

Is a service deposit or retainer required?

This is dependent on the particular service. For example, Virtual Office Plans all require a deposit calculated at two times the monthly charge paid by check. Signature Club Lounge does not require a retainer. In all cases, this requirement will be a part of the pricing when presented.

 

Is there a set-up fee for any services?

Yes and it varies by service. In all cases, this will be part of the pricing when presented.

 

If I don't need to use my Interval Office on any day, can I give the pass to one of my colleagues?

Nearly all SOHO services are individual memberships which are not transferable.

 

I have a Coworking monthly plan. Can I bring guests or team members tothe center?

Yes. You can purchase a coworking daily pass for anyone.  Please note that the charge for guests registered in advance is lower that for payment on the day of use.

 

For those with Monthly Meeting Plans, up to three guests may be brought in for the meeting and can use the Hub at no additional charge for up to one hour before and one hour after the meeting.

 

For monthly services, when do my services start and end?

Generally, all SOHO services start on the day you sign up unless special arrangements have been made. Some services require annual contracts and others are month to month. Regardless of term, all services agreements end on the last day of a month. 

 

How do I cancel my services?

Month to month agreements start on the day you sign up and renew automatically each month unless you cancel renewal by giving us written notice at least 30 days before the end of a month to not renew. 

 

Annual contracts will end on the last day of the month after a full twelve months have passed. They too will automatically renew unless you cancel renewal by giving us written notice at least 60 days before the end of then current term to not renew.

 

Otherwise specific details are found in the Terms of Service for the service you select.

 

Can I cancel before the end of a term?

The price you pay is based on the length of term so services cannot be canceled before the end of a term. If you think you may need term flexibility, we suggest taking a month to month term.

 

How are invoices sent and paid?

For monthly services, invoices are sent monthly, usually on the first day of a month. Credit card charges and ACH payments will also occur on that day. Clients with open accounts using services less frequently than monthly will also receive their invoices monthly with the prior month's charges. All others will be billed as used and will receive a monthly recap invoice.
 

What are your payment terms?

For fixed monthly charges, payments are due on the first of the month.  For variable charges from the prior month, payment is due 10 days after the invoice is presented. Payments received late are subject to a 10% late fee with a minimum.

 

Can I put my monthly service contract on hold or inactive if I am away?

We don’t have a procedure to do this. It you think this might be necessary, we suggest a shorter term service agreement.

 

Can I bring my dog to the center?

Dogs and other pets are not permitted in the center at any time with the exception of ADA defined service dogs with special training for people with disabilities.
